As I kid, I remember often having raita on the side of most of our meals. I forgot what a good accompaniment it is. I’ve found that it can be a great replacement for bread or rice when you feel like you need a little something else to go with your meal. With 2 main ingredients and a bit of seasoning, you can’t really go wrong!

Ingredients:
1 cup of Greek yogurt
1 large cucumber, diced (can peel if you want)
salt and pepper to taste
dash of paprika powder to garnish
optional: 1/2 cup of sliced red onion, 1/4 teaspoon each of coriander and cumin powder

Methods:
1. Stir the Greek yogurt in a bowl until it is smooth.
2. Mix in the remaining ingredients together. Chill and enjoy with your meal!
