My last two posts have been about planning your food – whether it is what you may eat at a restaurant or what you may buy at a supermarket. To help you get started, I thought I’d share my own basic  grocery list. Don’t forget to read the list of ingredients on whatever food you choose to buy. The list below is what I follow to prepare myself for the ‘Performance’ level. If I’m playing on other levels then I’d add brown rice, quinoa, peanut butter, and probably Greek yogurt to that list.

Definitely try to plan your menu first and write down the recipe so that you can write your list accordingly.

– nut milk
– nut butter
– nutritional yeast
– chia seeds
– flax seeds
– oats
– pine nuts
