I can’t believe we’re in the middle of week 3. It’s been a really, really busy day for me. I was out of the house for almost the whole day. I’m really glad that I packed snacks for me to have because I knew I would not have time to eat during the day, but having snacks is really not the way I want to get through my day. I guess today is one of those days when I would have rather had a sandwich (despite the bread) or a salad (despite the dressing) rather than an apple to get me through the afternoon. Still, I a made a choice, and I guess that’s what the challenge is all about. In the end, the sandwich wasn’t worth a point so I just stuck with the plan. I should try to think of some easily portable foods that won’t go off or taste weird/bad when eaten later in the day (after being in my bag for 5-8 hours). There’s always more planning to be done …

- Nutrition — Banana pre-workout, omelet muffins with avocado post-workout breakfast; 2 apples and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter for lunch; salmon over bell peppers and mushrooms for dinner; 2 dates and a cup of green tea as a snack
- Lifestyle requirement — made the 7 hour sleep requirement by the skin of my teeth!
