I’ve been trying to think of how things are going to be after this challenge is over. I know that I was accountable to myself during the past 8-weeks, but having the structure of a challenge definitely helped me stay on task. Having specific guidelines was really good for me. I want to make sure I keep moving forward because I still have a long way to go in terms of reaching my goals.
This last task is a good one – coming up with our future goals – because at least that will give me a focus/purpose and something to work towards. I’ve got a few in mind but I still need to work on the details. Most of all, I need to make sure they are realistic. There’s no point setting goals that are impossible to achieve. At the same time, I do want to challenge myself. I know that my CrossFit sessions & goals will help keep me on task with that!
Today I tried a new cardio kickboxing class. It was a lot of fun. There are so many different classes and workouts that I want to try … this is definitely part of the problem in terms of coming up with an exercise plan. I want to do it all!!! Realistically, though, of course I can’t!
So, lots of things to figure out as we approach the end of the challenge as well as the end of the year.
- Fish Oil — Taken 🙂
- Mobilization — 15 minutes of yoga in the morning
- Workout — Cardio kickboxing class 1 hour
- Nutrition — Did pretty good with my protein today! (Egg ‘muffins’ for breakfast; tuna and white bean salad for lunch; plaice w/veggies for dinner)
