We’re starting the final week of the challenge now! I can’t believe it’s been 7 weeks that I’ve been on this eating plan. I have truly learned the difference between a diet and a lifestyle change. This is a lifestyle change for sure.
I haven’t come to any resolutions as to how things will go after the 8 weeks are over. There’s nothing that I really need to change. I’m doing fine without all the ingredients that I gave up. Perhaps I’ll be slightly more lenient about some things … but I’m not sure. Again, the progress I’ve made by sticking to this plan has been so good that I don’t see any reason to go back to my old habits. We’ll see though.
At the moment, things are going on smoothly. I’ve been really stressed and busy with work (spent over 13 hours at my desk today) so I’m a bit distracted from everything else. I got in my exercise at home. I’m gutted I missed CrossFit, but I’m glad I got some exercise in. Hopefully things will be on a more normal schedule from tomorrow.
- Fish Oil — Taken 🙂
- Mobilization — 15 minutes of yoga in the morning
- Workout — 30 minutes of resistance training/abs work
- Nutrition — Breakfast was so filling that I only had a small snack for lunch; been having cravings for something crunchy though – raw nuts have been the answer. May have overdone it a bit today though! (Omelet with tomatoes & mushrooms for breakfast; munching on celery, nuts, peanut butter, and raisins through the afternoon – measured amounts, not randomly; spaghetti squash with bell peppers and mushrooms for dinner)
As I’ve been slowly thinking about how my eating patterns will be post-challenge I decided to look up Paleo eating and Clean eating and see what the difference was … I was really surprised to see how ‘lenient’ clean eating was. I found this chart below quite helpful.
