Everything was great today — until dinner with friends this evening and they brought out a cake for my birthday. I should have made it clear that I didn’t want any cake. I just assumed, since we were all gym buddies, that there wouldn’t be any … but it was a birthday and cake is tradition. Despite not wanting any, I did have a tiny slice just to make them happy. I really regret it now. I should have just said no, especially after what I posted about yesterday (my reaction to one bite won’t kill you). Anyway. What’s done is done. I can’t reverse my own decision to eat that piece of cake … I’ll just have to be extra careful from here on out.

Day 26 Summary

  • Fish Oil — Taken 🙂
  • Mobilization — Yoga in the morning (15 minutes); Stretching post-CrossFit (15 minutes)
  • Workout — CrossFit {Fran plus a second WOD & Bench press focus for strength training)
  • Nutrition — I did ok even though I ate out for both lunch and dinner (Fruit for breakfast; shrimp/avocado salad with tomatoes for lunch; hummus and grilled fish for dinner — and a slice of cake) I really, really wish I hadn’t eaten that slice … I’ll have to be extra careful over the next few days as my birthday approaches.
Total Points: 5 — I’m so disappointed with that 🙁
